ISO 9001:2026 – Making a successful transition – #105
Context
The ISO 9001:2026 standard introduces significant changes aimed at enhancing the relevance and performance of quality management systems.
Certified organisations must undertake a transition process in order to maintain the compliance of their system and effectively incorporate the new requirements.
You are ISO 9001 (2015) certified and wish to upgrade your Quality Management System to the 2026 version.
You are an internal quality auditor and wish to bring your skills up to date with the 2026 version.
Our training supports all QMS stakeholders in understanding the changes to the standard, analysing the impact on their existing practices and preparing for the operational implementation of the changes.
Objectives
- Understanding changes to the standard
- Analysing the gaps between current practices and the new requirements
- Identifying the impacts on your QMS
- Developing a transition plan tailored to your organisation

Specific operating conditions for remote sessions
- Have a PC equipped with a microphone, a webcam and, if possible, a headset for greater comfort. Note: wallpapers are available on Zoom or Teams to hide the background.
- Have a good Internet connection, which should be tested before the session.
- Settle down in a quiet, isolated place; set yourself to “unavailable” status on Teams; close your email access, and mute your phone, so as not to be disturbed during the session.
- Participants from the same organisation should not be grouped together in the same room, but each at their own desk.
- The end-of-course knowledge test must be taken with your webcam and microphone turned on. We may need to verify that you are alone in the room.
- Please sign in 5 minutes before the start of the session.
