EURO-SYMBIOSE is accredited by the IATF to provide this training.
The members of the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) are automobile manufacturers and national associations of the automobile industry representing suppliers. The IATF has established five Oversight Offices, commonly referred to as IATF Oversight Offices, to implement and manage its certification system to IATF 16949: Requirements for Quality Management Systems for Organisations involved in the Production of Automotive Production and Parts. Public information about the IATF and its IATF Oversight Offices is available at www.iatfglobaloversight.org.
The IATF authorises certification bodies to conduct audits according to IATF 16949 and to issue certificates to their customers.
The IATF defines the rules for the qualification of auditors of these certification bodies. The auditor is admitted to the qualification process by submitting an application file and having it validated by the IATF : download the application form – part 1
Once the application has been validated, the candidate accesses the Auditor Development Platform (ADP) where he/she must follow mandatory training modules and produce the corresponding certificates in order to participate in the training : download the application form – part 2, download the EURO-SYMBIOSE’s application form and the terms of payment
The « new IATF auditor » qualification course includes a 4-day training course followed by an examination 1 to 3 months after the training.

Los miembros de la International Automotive Task Force (IATF) son fabricantes de vehículos y asociaciones nacionales de la industria del automóvil que representan a los proveedores.
La IATF dispone de Oficinas de Supervisión (conocidas popularmente por su denominación en inglés como “Oversight Offices”) cuya misión es implantar y gestionar el sistema de certificación según la norma IATF 16949, es decir, los requisitos del sistema de gestión de calidad aplicables a las organizaciones fabricantes de piezas de serie y recambio en la industria del automóvil.

Para llevar a cabo dicha misión, la IATF autoriza a los organismos de certificación a realizar auditorías de conformidad con la norma IATF 16949 y a expedir certificados a sus clientes.
Adicionalmente, la IATF define las normas de cualificación de los auditores de estos organismos de certificación. Los auditores son admitidos al proceso de cualificación presentando una solicitud que debe ser aprobada por la IATF: descargar el formulario de solicitud – parte 1
Una vez validada la solicitud, el candidato accede a la plataforma ADP (Auditor Development Platform) donde deberá realizar los módulos de formación obligatorios y presentar los certificados correspondientes para poder participar en la formación: descargar el formulario de inscripción – parte 2, descargar el formulario de inscripción EURO-SYMBIOSE y las condiciones de pago.
La formación de cualificación de nuevos auditores IATF se compone de un curso de formación de 4 días seguido de un examen que se realiza entre 1 y 3 meses después del curso de formación.
Objectives / Objetivos
- Become familiar with the automotive specific process approach, the identification of processes and their interactions as well as the performance and monitoring of processes.
- Be familiar with the requirements of the Stage 1 readiness review, the Stage 2 audit and the customer specific requirements (CSR).
- Be familiar with the requirements for surveillance audits, recertification audits and transfer audits.
- Be able to perform audit planning and proper management of non-conformities.
- Be able to prepare appropriate audit reports.
- Familiarizarse con el enfoque por procesos específico de la industria del automóvil, la identificación de procesos y sus interacciones, así como su rendimiento y supervisión.
- Familiarizarse con los requisitos de la auditoría de Fase 1 de preparación, la auditoría de la fase 2 y los requisitos específicos del cliente (CSR).
- Familiarizarse con los requisitos de las auditorías de vigilancia, recertificación y transferencia.
- Ser capaz de planificar auditorías y gestionar adecuadamente las no conformidades.
- Ser capaz de preparar informes de auditoría adecuados.

This course is only open to ISO 9001 auditors sponsored by an IATF approved certification body. It is not open to the general public. It is conducted by EURO-SYMBIOSE trainers approved by the IATF.

Prerequisites / Requisitos de acceso
- Be qualified to perform ISO 9001 audits.
- Have conducted at least six third party audits to ISO 9001 in industrial manufacturing sites, including at least three as an audit manager.
- Have knowledge and competence in basic automotive methods and tools.
- Four years of full-time practical experience including two full years in a quality assurance and/or quality management activity in an organisation or organisations within the scope of IATF 16949. This experience must have been gained within the last 15 years in an automotive production organisation.
- Have observed at least one third party audit (IATF 164949) for at least two days before attending the new auditor training and assessment process.
- Submission and validation by the IATF of an application.
- Successful completion of the mandatory modules of the Auditor Development Platform (ADP) and presentation of the corresponding certificates.
- Estar cualificado para llevar a cabo auditorías ISO 9001.
- Haber realizado al menos seis auditorías ISO 9001 de tercera parte en plantas de fabricación industrial, incluidas al menos tres como auditor jefe.
- Tener conocimientos y aptitudes en métodos y herramientas básicos de automoción.
- Disponer de al menos cuatro años de experiencia práctica a tiempo completo, incluidos dos años completos en una actividad de aseguramiento de la calidad y/o gestión de la calidad en una o más organizaciones dentro del ámbito de aplicación de la norma IATF 16949. Esta experiencia deberá haberse adquirido en un periodo no anterior a quince años en una organización industrial de automoción.
- Haber asistido como observador a, como mínimo, una auditoría de tercera parte (IATF 164949) durante al menos dos días antes de participar en la formación y evaluación de nuevos auditores.
- Presentar la solicitud de admisión Parte 1 a la IATF y obtener su aprobación.
Pedagogy / Metodología didáctica
The pedagogy implemented is applied on case studies to master the profession of IATF 16949 third party auditor in accordance with the requirements of the certification scheme.
La metodología didáctica se basa en casos de estudio que le ayudarán a dominar su actividad como auditor de tercera parte IATF 16949 de acuerdo con los requisitos del esquema de certificación.

- Qualifying exam 1 to 3 months after the training.
