Context
- You are in the middle of a Lean Manufacturing process in the factory. The workshop is complaining about manufacturing difficulties with « badly designed » products and processes and you are looking for a way to remedy this.
- You now want to act at the source by integrating Lean precepts into your approach to the design, development and industrialisation of your new products.
- You want to strengthen the synergy between your development and production teams.
Objectives
- Rapidly achieve a 20% increase in productivity, space savings of 30% and reduce work in progress by 80%.
- Understand and apply the principles of lean manufacturing in your company.
- In the field, participate in a project from A to Z: observation, analysis, redesign, implementation, measurement of results.

Session 1
Introduction to the concepts (MUDA, Jidoka, JIT, Lead Time, Kaizen).
Session 2
Analyse and reorganize the sector:
- Observe and analyse the activity in the field.
- Identify operations with no added value.
- Dismantle and move equipment, rearrange workstations and spaces.
- Restart, improve, measure and verify results, review and assess.
Session 3
Assess the results obtained in terms of space, cycle times, operator movement, productivity, lead times, etc.
Session 4
Comparison with the targets set by the company.
Session 5
Finalize the solutions into standardized processes.
Session 6
Present the project to Top Management.
