Training – Lean manufacturing / Kaizen – #54
Context
- You are in the middle of a Lean Manufacturing process in the factory. The workshop is complaining about manufacturing difficulties with « badly designed » products and processes and you are looking for a way to remedy this.
- You now want to act at the source by integrating Lean precepts into your approach to the design, development and industrialisation of your new products.
- You want to strengthen the synergy between your development and production teams.
Objectives
- Rapidly achieve a 20% increase in productivity, space savings of 30% and reduce work in progress by 80%.
- Understand and apply the principles of lean manufacturing in your company.
- In the field, participate in a project from A to Z: observation, analysis, redesign, implementation, measurement of results.
Duration
(*) 2 to 4 days, based on the scope set during the on-site preparation (1 day)

Prerequisites
Management’s commitment to the implementation of the Lean approach
Pedagogy
A one-day on-site preparation is essential to:

analyse the industrial and social environment,

set the objectives of the Lean management project,

identify and confirm the project scope (connected to a Value Stream Mapping – VSM – or not),
-
establish the key performance data of the current production process to collect before training,
-
structure and define the project organisation.
Evaluation mode

Validation by the trainer of the ability to apply the concepts and tools taught through situational exercises.
Course materials

Participant’s file containing the presentations delivered during the training and the exercise materials.
